Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP seeks a Registered Funds Content Lawyer to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy focused on innovative registered funds products and the regulatory developments shaping the space.

You will publish client alerts, long‑form articles, market updates, and regulatory summaries for asset managers and fund sponsors, collaborating with practice attorneys, business development, and leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment management, securities regulation, or a closely related practice area.
Substantive exposure to registered funds products and the regulatory framework governing them.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce polished publication-ready content.
Strong analytical and research abilities to synthesize regulatory developments into commentary.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain editorial quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a forward-looking editorial calendar and content pipeline for registered funds topics.
Research, draft, edit, and publish client alerts, long-form articles, white papers, and market updates.
Translate complex legal concepts into clear prose for sophisticated asset managers and fund sponsors.
Track regulatory developments and distill key takeaways into actionable content.
Collaborate with attorneys, business development, and leadership to align content with strategy.
