Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in Texas is seeking a qualified echocardiography technician to perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, TEE, and stress echo studies. The role requires RDCS/CCI credentials or ARDMS; BLS is mandatory and ACLS preferred. On-call duties and hospital experience are valued.

The candidate will work under the supervision of non-invasive cardiology, maintain documentation, and support patient care from setup to interpretation, ensuring high-quality imaging and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or GED; associate degree echo program preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association required.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all echocardiograms to established standards and practices.
• Maintains patient safety and identification; ensures proper workflow and documentation.
• Prepares worksheets for physicians review and interpretation; supports QA process.
• Manages supplies and equipment within budget; participates in mandatory education.
