Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a qualified Echo Technologist to perform comprehensive echocardiograms, including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, pulse wave Doppler, continuous wave Doppler and transesophageal studies under supervision. You will support the imaging team and ensure high-quality studies for physician interpretation.

The role requires RDCS/ARDMS or CCI credentials, BLS current, ACLS preferred, and about 1 year of hospital experience with on-call

Qualifications

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.

Responsibilities

• Assures proper patient identification and safety.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patient.
• Prepares echocardiographic worksheet for physicians review and interpretation.
• Supports department Quality Assurance process through data collection.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency in all echo procedures.
