Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking an echocardiography technologist to perform advanced echo studies and support on-call coverage. You will operate GE VIVID E95 systems, acquire and analyze images, and prepare worksheets for physicians.

High attention to patient safety, accurate data entry, and collaboration with the cardiology team are essential. Certification and hospital experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program or accredited echo training program.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required; ACLS preferred.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all echocardiograms (2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, CW Doppler).
• Prepare echocardiographic worksheets for physician review.
• Maintain patient safety and identify proper patient id.
• Support Quality Assurance with data collection and documentation.
