Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist is seeking an Echo Technician to perform comprehensive echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler and stress echo under supervision in a 40-hour work week. The role requires RDCS/ RCS credentials or equivalent, BLS, and on-call availability.

Experience with GE VIVID E95 and Epic is preferred, with strong patient care and safety focus. The candidate should have an associate degree in echo or accredited training, excellent communication, and the ability to

Qualifications

Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred; high school diploma/GED accepted
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required
RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required
Experience with GE VIVID E95, TEE probes, and Epic preferred
On-call availability is required
1 year hospital echo tech experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assures proper patient identification and safety.
Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patient.
Demonstrates understanding of universal precautions.
Performs echocardiographic studies according to established standards and practices.
Completes forms and records for billing and documentation.
Supports quality assurance through data collection and reporting.
