Job summary

Solano Post Acute is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to lead nutritional care for residents in our center. You will assess nutritional needs, interpret labs, and advise the clinical team on therapeutic diets to uphold high standards of care.

Required RD licensure and experience in acute or long-term care are essential. Familiarity with nursing regulations and PCC is a plus, with a strong commitment to person-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Dietitian with current RD license.
• 3-5 years’ experience in acute or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and aging care needs.
• Familiarity with nutrition management and lab value interpretation.

Responsibilities

If Yes, How You Will Contribute To The Team

As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

Must Have

• Registered Dietitian License.
• 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
