Job summary

The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a 189-bed facility and manage nutrition for short-term, long-term, palliative care, and feeding tube residents.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition, the RD will assess residents, provide counseling, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure adherence to the Nutrition Care Process. Weekend rotations are included in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian or RD Eligible with DI Verification Statement.
• Comfortable with enteral nutrition.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education for residents and family.
• Work with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents.
• Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
• Possess the ability to creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
• Rotating holidays and weekend work required.

The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team. This 189-bed facility is looking for a hard working and energizedRegistered Dietitian (RD)to help manage the nutrition needs of their short term, long term, Palliative Care and feeding tube residents while proudly serving their diverse community health-care needs.

Registered Dietitian (RD)Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition the successful candidate will:
