Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their clinical team in a long-term care and rehab setting in New York.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition, you will assess residents' nutritional needs, provide counseling, and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and family members to support diverse patient populations, including short-term, long-term, and palliative care.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian or RD eligible with DI Verification Statement.
• Comfortable with enteral nutrition.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with state survey process and nutrition regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments.
• Providing nutrition counseling and education for residents and family.
• Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents.
• Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
• Possess the ability to creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
• Rotating holidays and weekend work required.

Are you a Registered Dietitian (RD) ready to impact the life of patients in a Long Term Care and Rehab facility?

The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Queen is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team. This facility is looking for a hard working and energized Registered Dietitian (RD) to help manage the nutrition needs of their short term, long term, Palliative Care and feeding tube residents while proudly serving their diverse community health-care needs.

Registered Dietitian (RD) Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition the successful candidate will:

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments
• Providing nutrition counseling and education for residents and family
• Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents
