Qualifications

• RD credential required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• Skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
• Comfortable with EMR and computer-based menu systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and develop individualized care plans.
• Address weight changes, skin integrity, nutrition support, and special dietary needs.
• Monitor meals and ensure prescribed diets and modifications are followed.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, SLPs, and other team members.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Review menus and diet changes for compliance with guidelines.
• Oversee nutrition-related audits, weight monitoring, and quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and dietary/menu software.

This is a great opportunity for an RD who enjoys working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality nutritional care.

Compensation: $80,000 - $87,500 depending on experience

What You’ll Do

• Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and develop individualized care plans

• Address weight changes, skin integrity, nutrition support, and special dietary needs

• Monitor meals and ensure prescribed diets and modifications are followed

• Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, SLPs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff

• Review menus and diet changes for compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines

• Oversee nutrition-related audits, weight monitoring, and quality initiatives

• Work closely with the dietary team to promote excellent resident care

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and dietary/menu software

What We’re Looking For
