Job summary

The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to manage the nutrition needs of short term, long term, and palliative care residents in its 189-bed facility. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition, the RD will assess nutritional needs, provide counseling, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and independence, with weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian or RD eligible with DI Verification Statement.
• Comfortable with enteral nutrition.
• Knowledge of state survey process and nutrition care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutritional needs via clinical assessments.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process in daily practice.
• Organize clinical nutrition and patient care tasks; rotate holidays and weekends.

The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join theirdynamic team. This 189-bed facility is looking for a hard working and energizedRegistered Dietitian (RD)to helpmanage the nutrition needs of their short term, long term, Palliative Care and feeding tube residents whileproudly serving their diverse community health-care needs.

Registered Dietitian (RD)Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition the successful candidate will:

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments
• Providing nutrition counseling and education for residents and family
• Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents
• Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process
• Possess the ability to creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
• Rotating holidays and weekend work required

Salary: up to $90,000 annually
