Job summary

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large Skilled Nursing Home in Queens, NY seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional care for residents. The RD will assess nutrition needs, develop care plans, and monitor outcomes in collaboration with medical and interdisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years in SNF/LTC, understanding DOH rules, and strong communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian.
• 1-2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC.
• Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules for Skilled Nursing Homes.
• Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments.
• Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans.
• Familiar with MDS and EMR software for clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large (200++ beds), highly rated Skilled Nursing Home in Queens, NY, that is seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian (RD) for direct hire. The Dietitian will provide nutritional care for residents.

The successful candidate will be a certified RD with 1-2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Home, including assessing, evaluating, and monitoring the effectiveness of dietary care plans to provide high-quality care. Additionally, the RD will possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with Medical and interdisciplinary teams, residents, and their families.
