Job summary

CoreLife in partnership with MedStar Health seeks a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in White Marsh, MD to deliver medical nutrition therapy for obesity and chronic diseases within a collaborative, healthcare model. This 4-day work week role emphasizes evidence-based nutrition and patient-centered care alongside a full care team.

You will assess, plan, and implement personalized nutrition care, driving behavior change and sustainable outcomes in a hospital-affiliated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• RD/RDN - active OR registration eligible through the CDR.
• Current Maryland Dietitian License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
• Passion for working with obesity and chronic disease.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients with obesity and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and ongoing patient counseling.
• Engage patients in behavior change and long-term lifestyle modification.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (NPs, fitness trainers, behavioral health).
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Educate patients on evidence-based nutrition strategies.
• Support patient adherence through motivational interviewing and coaching techniques.
