Job summary

CoreLife, in partnership with MedStar Health, seeks a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) for medical weight loss in Odenton, MD. This role focuses on MNT, obesity treatment, and chronic disease management within a collaborative care model.

This full-time position offers a 4-day work week (10-hour shifts Tue-Fri), a salary range of $70,000–$80,000 based on experience, and a quarterly bonus eligibility. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – active OR registration eligible through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Current Maryland Dietitian License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
• Passion for working with patients managing obesity and chronic disease.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients with obesity and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and ongoing patient counseling.
• Engage patients in behavior change and long-term lifestyle modification.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (NPs, fitness trainers, behavioral health).
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Educate patients on evidence-based nutrition strategies.
• Support patient adherence through motivational interviewing and coaching techniques.
