Job summary

CoreLife Healthcare, in partnership with MedStar Health, is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in Maryland to advance obesity care and chronic disease management through medical nutrition therapy in a collaborative, outcomes-driven care model.

This full-time role offers a 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts (Tuesday–Friday) and a focus on patient-centered nutrition, behavior change, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• RD/RDN must be active or eligible for registration through CDR.
• Maryland Dietitian License or eligibility to obtain.
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
• Passion for obesity and chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients with obesity and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans
• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and ongoing patient counseling
• Engage patients in behavior change and long-term lifestyle modification
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (NPs, fitness trainers, behavioral health)
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
• Educate patients on evidence-based nutrition strategies
• Support patient adherence through motivational interviewing and coaching techniques
