Job summary

Elior Living, in partnership with Cura-Hospitality, is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the healthcare team at Berks Heim Nursing Home in Leesport, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions to support residents’ well-being, and collaborate with the care team to enhance quality of life.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dietitian with CDR eligibility, completes CE hours regularly, and adheres to regulatory standards while teaching others about nutrition and

Qualifications

Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a dietitian per state requirements.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate residents and staff.
Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to develop procedures related to dining and nutrition.
Participate in the development and review of quality improvement programs.
