Job summary
Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietician to join our team. You will develop personalized meal plans, provide nutrition counseling, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ nutritional well-being.
The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligible (CDR), holds a bachelor’s in nutrition/dietetics, and demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting focused on
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligible with CDR.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized meal plans.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents and staff.
- Collaborate with care teams to implement comprehensive nutrition care plans.
- Monitor resident progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Stay updated on current nutrition research and gerontological dietetics.
- Participate in quality improvement and policy development for nutrition.
