Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the healthcare team at Leesport’s Berks Heim Nursing Home. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and support quality of life aligned with goals.

You will educate patients, staff and consultants, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and collaborate across departments to improve dining services and nutrition. Full-time onsite with benefits.

Qualifications

• CDR exam passed or eligible per professional standards.
• Completes 75 hours CEU every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review and revision of QA and continuous quality improvement programs.
