Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition at a long-term care facility. This role offers Monday–Friday schedules with flexibility and requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents’ health.

The RD will document care plans in the electronic medical record, provide nutrition education, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering high-quality resident care. Salary is hourly.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State licensure active in practice state.
• Knowledge of CMS/state nutrition regulations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess residents/patients' clinical nutrition needs and document the plan in the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, labs, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents' health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.
