Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to oversee clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility, contributing to high-quality patient care and resident well-being.

You will work with a team to assess needs, develop plans, educate residents and families, and ensure regulatory compliance, with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexibility for coverage across locations.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State licensure in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• If multi-site RD, must have valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents'/patients' clinical nutrition needs and document care plans in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings, labs, weight trends and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
