Job summary
Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. You will assess residents and develop care plans, documenting in the EMR to support resident outcomes.
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring CMS and state regulations are followed while educating residents, families, and staff. Flexible schedules and professional development opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- RD must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Must hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents' clinical nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
- Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical data and comorbidities.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
- Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
