Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition at a long-term care facility. You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, provide counseling, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident health.

The role requires RD credential and state licensure; coverage across multiple buildings may be needed, with compliance to CMS regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
State license in good standing required.
Knowledge of state survey process preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply.

Responsibilities

Assess clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document plans in the EMR.
Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on labs, weight trends and comorbidities.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families and staff.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
Ensure CMS, state, and federal regulation compliance and company standards.
Provide coverage in multiple buildings as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
