Job summary

Cura Hospitality in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at Kane Dietitians. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents and implement interventions to maintain or improve nutrition and quality of life aligned with individual goals.

As a registered dietitian you will educate the care team and patients, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, coordinate with departments to set up nutrition-related policies, and contribute to

Qualifications

RD must be registered with CDR or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Completes 75 hours CE every five years.
Licensed or certified per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
Ability to teach nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
