Job summary

The role at Kane Dietitians within Elior’s Cura-Hospitality division in Pittsburgh seeks a Registered Dietitian to assess nutritional needs, intervene to optimize status, and support quality of life for residents. You will work with the healthcare team to deliver evidence‑based nutrition care on an onsite basis.

Requirements include passing the CDR or eligibility, ongoing CE, state licensure, and strong teaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of CE every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in development and review of continuous quality improvement programs.
