Job summary

The Registered Dietitian role at Kane Dietitians within Cura-Hospitality (Elior North America) is part of our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to support nutritional status, and improve quality of life aligned with patient goals.

You’ll provide nutritional expertise to the care team, educate patients and staff, adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, collaborate with other departments, and

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
