Job summary

The Kane Dietitians unit of Cura-Hospitality, part of Elior North America, seeks an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs of patients, initiate interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

You will collaborate with the care team to educate patients, staff, and consultants; adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards; participate in CQI programs and policy development in dining services

Qualifications

Pass national exam through the CDR or eligible for eligibility.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Licensed or certified per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
Actively participate in development, review, and improvement of continuous quality improvement programs.
