Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an onsite role in Pittsburgh within the Cura-Hospitality healthcare team. The RD will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and improve patients’ quality of life aligned with their goals.

The role requires licensure or certification, completion of CDR requirements, and ongoing continuing education. Collaboration with care teams and adherence to standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Passed a national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified according to state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
