Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to maintain nutrition, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.

You will provide nutritional expertise to the care team, educate patients and staff, follow standards of practice, and help develop dining service procedures. The role is onsite, full-time, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the CDR or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up dining service and nutrition procedures.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
