Job summary

Elior North America, in partnership with Cura-Hospitality, seeks an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to optimize nutrition, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.

This role requires CDR exam eligibility, continued education, licensure, and adherence to standards of practice, with collaboration across departments to support dining services and

Qualifications

• Must pass the national examination administered by the CDR or meet eligibility.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and improving quality improvement programs.
