Essenti Talent is recruiting a Registered Dietitian for a Forbes top 100 hospital in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. You will provide nutrition counseling, develop care plans, and educate patients within a collaborative healthcare team.

The role is full-time at 0.8 FTE with benefits. Requirements include Ohio licensure, clinical experience, and strong communication. You’ll work with diverse populations and document care with HIPAA-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietician, licensed in the state of Ohio.
• Prior clinical experience and knowledge of food preparation, safety & sanitation practices.
• Experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills; able to explain detailed information to a diverse population.
• Accurately take and record measurements and readings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling, care plans, assessments, and nutrition education for a diverse population.
• Assess nutritional needs and complete nutritional care plans for patients.
• Screen and assess patients for nutritional risk.
• Provide diet and nutrition interaction instructions.
• Attend care conferences addressing patients' nutritional needs.
• Document nutritional needs of high-risk patients in a timely manner (holidays and weekends).
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in mandatory in-service meetings (e.g., TB testing, safety, HIPAA).
