You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, screen for risk, and document nutrition data while collaborating with the care team. Ohio licensure and clinical experience required; strong communication essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio license as a Registered Dietitian.
• Prior clinical nutrition experience required.
• Experience teaching nutrition therapy required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to document and record measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling, develop nutritional care plans and education programs for a diverse population.
• Assess nutritional needs of patients and complete nutritional care plans.
• Screen and assess patients for nutritional risk.
• Deliver diet and food-drug interaction instructions.
• Attend care conferences to address patient’s nutritional needs.
• Document nutritional needs of high-risk patients in a timely manner including holidays and weekends.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in mandatory in-service meetings (e.g. TB testing, safety, HIPAA).
