Community LIFE Wilkinsburg, PA is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition assessments and care planning for older adults (55+) in collaboration with the IDT. The role includes counseling, education, and oversight of dietary services at the adult day center.
You will supervise dietary staff, perform in-home visits with mileage reimbursement, and ensure quality, safety, and compliance in all nutritional care activities.

Summary of Job Duties: At Community LIFE, our Registered Dietitian is responsible for individual nutrition assessment and care planning for older adults (age 55+) in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). This position includes individual and group education and counseling, and oversight of the health and safety aspects of food service provided at the Community LIFE adult day center. This position supervises the dietary staff. The Registered Dietitian will be required to make in-home visits (with mileage reimbursed) as necessary for assessment and on-going case management.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in nutrition or dietetics
Required Experience: One year of experience as a dietitian/nutritionist working with the frail elderly population either in a hospital or nursing home setting (internship experience may qualify toward this requirement).
Required Certifications and Licensure: Current Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) registration and PA licensure. Valid PA Driver's License.
