Job summary

Premier at Perry Village in New Bloomfield, PA is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time, onsite role to assess, plan, and implement individualized nutrition care for residents. You will collaborate with the care team to integrate dietary services and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds PA licensure, a nutrition/dietetics degree, and 1 year of long-term care experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RD in PA required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic diets and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutrition and create individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement nutrition care plans.
• Monitor and revise residents' nutritional status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate dietary services.
• Guide dietary staff on menu planning, therapeutic diets, and regulatory compliance.
• Educate residents and families on nutrition goals and dietary modifications.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal dietary regulations.

Position Overview

As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nutrition care plans for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including for residents with complex medical needs
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and revise care plans as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate dietary services into overall care
• Provide guidance to dietary staff on menu planning, therapeutic diets, and regulatory compliance
• Educate residents and families on nutrition goals and dietary modifications
• Ensure adherence to all relevant state and federal dietary regulations
