Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, oversight, and support to dietary services across assigned facilities.
• Develop, organize, implement, and evaluate dietary programs to promote quality resident care.
• Review dietary policies and procedures regularly and update as needed.
• Partner with facility Administrators and dietary teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with plans of correction when deficiencies are identified during surveys.
• Participate in QAPI activities and collaborate to address improvement opportunities.
• Conduct routine reviews of dietary service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Serve as a resource and support system for facility dietary staff across locations.

About the Position

The Registered Dietitian plays an important role in supporting the overall nutritional well-being of our residents and the quality of our dietary services. Working closely with facility leadership and dietary teams, this position helps ensure that nutritional programs and food service operations meet applicable federal, state, and local regulations while providing residents with safe, appropriate, and quality nutritional services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, oversight, and support to dietary services across assigned facilities.

• Develop, organize, implement, and evaluate dietary programs and activities to promote quality resident care.

• Review dietary policies, procedures, and departmental guidelines regularly and recommend updates as needed.

• Partner with facility Administrators and dietary teams to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.

• Assist with developing and implementing plans of correction when dietary deficiencies are identified during state or federal surveys.

• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and collaborate with facility teams to address opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct routine reviews and inspections of dietary service areas to promote cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and quality standards.

• Serve as a resource and support system for facility dietary staff, encouraging consistency, teamwork, and best practices across locations.
