Hill Valley Healthcare in Memphis, TN is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a compassionate team and provide high-quality nutritional care to residents in our skilled nursing facility.

The RD will assess nutritional status, develop care plans, monitor interventions, educate residents and families, oversee menus, and collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ nutritional status and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate dietary interventions and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, therapy, and medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including survey readiness.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Oversee menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing, and therapeutic diets.
• Participate in care plan meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
