Job summary

Montebello Care Center in California is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to assess residents' nutritional care and support the clinical and dietary teams. You will interpret lab values, monitor intake, and address food-drug interactions to ensure optimal nutrition and high-quality care.

Required are 3–5 years in acute or long-term care, strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, and a solid understanding of aging-related nutrition.

If yes, how you will contribute to the team:

As the Part-TimeRegistered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

Must Have:

• 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
