Job summary

Creekside Center in Stockton, CA is hiring a part-time Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our compassionate care team. You will assess residents’ nutritional needs, advise the clinical team, and help tailor therapeutic diets to support quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds a Registered Dietitian License with 3–5 years in acute or long-term care, understands skilled nursing regulations, and is focused on aging populations. PCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian License.
• 3-5 years' experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center.
• Advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on nutritional status including lab value interpretation and dietary management.
• Ensure optimal nutrition for residents and maintain high standards of care.
• Collaborate with the team to monitor and adjust therapeutic diets as needed.

If Yes, How You Will Contribute To The Team

As the Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

• Registered Dietitian License.
