Job summary

Windsor Elmhaven Care Center in Stockton, CA is hiring a Registered Dietitian (RD) to lead nutritional care for residents. You will assess residents, guide the clinical team on dietary needs, and monitor lab values and intake to optimize nutrition and care quality.

The role requires 3-5 years in acute or long-term care, solid knowledge of nursing regulations, and a focus on aging-related nutrition; PCC experience is a plus. Excellent teamwork and commitment to resident well-being are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
• Nice to have PCC experience.

If yes, how you will contribute to the team:

As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.
