Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Dietitian in Pennsylvania.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic diets and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor residents' nutritional status and revise plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate dietary services into care.
- Guide menu planning, therapeutic diets, and regulatory compliance for dietary staff.
- Educate residents and families on nutrition goals and dietary modifications.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant state and federal dietary regulations.
