Job summary

Smilebliss is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/OA) to join our dynamic team in California. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist, prepare and sterilize instruments, take x-rays, educate patients, and maintain accurate records.

You will also manage supplies, ensure safety, support administrative tasks, and collaborate to improve patient flow and the overall experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RDA or OA license and CPR certification.
• Orthodontic experience preferred, but not required for highly motivated candidates.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take and develop x-rays as directed by the orthodontist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Order and manage dental supplies, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and organized.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support administrative duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
• Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.
