Job summary

Image Orthodontics is a well-established orthodontic practice seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Orthodontic Assistant (OA) to join our team. This role offers a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and opportunities to specialize and grow with our supportive group.

You will assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures, prepare instruments, take x-rays, educate patients on care and treatment plans, maintain accurate records, and help keep the office organized.

Qualifications

• Valid RDA or OA license and CPR certification as required by state law.
• Orthodontic experience preferred, but not required for highly motivated candidates.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take and develop x-rays as directed by the orthodontist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Order and manage dental supplies, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and organized.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support administrative duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients
• Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.
