Job summary

Smilebliss is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/OA) to join our dynamic team in California. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist, prepare and sterilize instruments, take x-rays, educate patients, and maintain accurate records.

You will also manage supplies, ensure safety, support administrative tasks, and collaborate to improve patient flow and the overall experience.

Qualifications

Valid RDA or OA license and CPR certification.
Orthodontic experience preferred, but not required for highly motivated candidates.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop x-rays as directed by the orthodontist.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Order and manage dental supplies, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and organized.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Support administrative duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.
