University Place Modern Dentistry seeks a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced office in University Place, WA. You will assist with treatments, manage patient flow, and help educate patients on oral health to promote optimal outcomes.

The role emphasizes chair-side efficiency, sterile environment maintenance, and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Certification/licensure as required by state (e.g. radiograph exposure, coronal polish, etc).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Maintain sterile, clean environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
