Job summary

PDS Health in Federal Way is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist with patient care, radiographs, and chair-side procedures. You will help ensure a smooth, comfortable patient experience while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate will hold state-certified credentials, a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree or certificate when available. Join a team focused on quality care, ongoing learning, and community service.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma and state-m mandated certification/licensure
• Certifications/licensure as mandated by the state
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred or required by some offices

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment
• Actively participate in patient experience to keep patients focused on optimal treatment
• Maintain clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Comply with state and federal safety regulations and policies
