Northshore Modern Dentistry in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support the dentist, assist with patient care, radiographs, and intra-oral photography while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, with state required certification/licensure.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist the doctors.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
