Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; state certification/licensure may be required.
• Radiograph exposure certification and other mandated licenses.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment, prepare patients for treatment, and assist doctors.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
