Job summary

Cool Springs Modern Dentistry is inviting a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering high-quality care. You will help prepare patients, take X-rays and intra-oral photos, and educate patients about oral health.

The role emphasizes sterile technique, fast responsiveness, and teamwork in a busy clinic. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and state-required certifications; an associate degree or one-year certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training.
• Licensure or registrations as required by state (polish, radiograph exposure, etc).
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred; experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to obtain patient commitment for treatment with urgency.
• Prepare patients, take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed.
• Educate patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
