Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team in Chattanooga. You will provide essential chair-side support, prepare patients for treatment, and assist dentists with restorative procedures.

Responsibilities include radiographs, instrument sterilization, patient education, and maintaining OSHA/HIPAA standards. Prior dental assisting certification or on-the-job training and CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Radiography/X-ray certification for the respective state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.

Responsibilities

• Dental Assistant provides chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, setup, and patient education.
• Records patient health history and completes forms in the dental software under doctor guidance.
• Prepares patients, sterilizes instruments, and assists dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Adheres to OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, X-ray, and other required certifications.
