Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL seeks an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to perform high-frequency ultrasound procedures and operate imaging equipment. You will develop ultrasound films and assist the radiology team while adhering to sterile techniques and supporting the department during on-call coverage.

The ideal candidate has an RVT credential or equivalent, an Associate Degree, and timely BCLS certification; RDMS-Abdomen or RDMS-OB/GYN credentials within 6 months are required or

Qualifications

• RVT must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate degree required
• BCLS certification within 30 days of employment start date
• RDMS Abdomen or RDMS OB/GYN must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures to detect pathology using high-frequency sound waves
• Operate ultrasound equipment and develop films for permanent records
• Assist in daily imaging department operations and maintain sterile technique
• Assist radiologist with procedures when physician presence is required; on-call required
