Job summary

Radiology Associates in Port Orange, FL is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to work in our outpatient imaging center. You will perform diverse ultrasound exams and support patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARDMS abdominal ultrasound, BLS, and at least one year of experience; breast imaging/interventional experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer.
• ARDMS certification in Abdominal Ultrasound is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Maintains CME requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide clear instructions regarding ultrasound procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate patient exams efficiently.
• Perform abdominal, vascular, small parts, OB/GYN, breast imaging, interventional procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in breast imaging and interventional techniques.
• Use sonographic findings to differentiate normal vs. pathological conditions.
• Review images for quality and diagnostic acceptability.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and monitor supplies.
• Provide compassionate patient care and support.
