Job summary

Child Builders ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to provide home-based ABA therapy to children with autism and related developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and work under the supervision of a BCBA to support skill acquisition.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
  • Completion of RBT training preferred, but we will offer the course for new staff.
  • Current RBT certification through the BACB.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement ABA techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in various settings (home, school, community) using the behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.
  • Collect accurate data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and improving skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.
  • Provide feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress and any observed changes in behavior.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards of behavior analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compensation and Schedule:
  • Pay range: $20 - $25 /hour

  • Full-time, part-time shifts available

Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.

  • Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program preferred, but we will offer the course for any new staff

  • Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
